About this artwork
Arthur Rackham was a well known English artist, famed for his book illustrations. He utilised a combination of strong pen and ink sketches with delicate watercolours. One of his most notable works was 'The Meeting of Oberon and Titania', a creation specifically for the 1908 version of Shakespeare's well known 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream'.
