About this artwork

August William Hutaf was a U.S. illustrator and commercial artist. Back in 1917, he created a World War One recruitment poster for the Tank Corps, which was a fresh addition to the military at that time. The poster was called 'Treat 'Em Rough - Join the Tanks'. This particular print has been color-matched to the original and got a thumbs up from the Imperial War Museum. Each buy contributes to the museum's ongoing work.
