About this artwork
Cary Grant, who was born on January 18, 1904, and died on November 29, 1986, was one of THE top leading men in the golden era of Hollywood. Despite being born in England, he was an American actor known for his distinctive transatlantic accent and a talent for comedic timing. A publicity shot from 1956 shows a young and dapper Cary in a gun club checkered blazer, posing in front of a lit vanity mirror.
