About this artwork
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were a famous comedy pair from the early Classical Hollywood era of American cinema. Stan Laurel, an English comic actor, was born on June 16, 1890, and died on February 23, 1965. Oliver Hardy, an American comic actor, was born on January 18, 1892, and died on August 7, 1957. This duo was well known for their slapstick comedy style. In 1932, they acted in a short comedy film called 'The Music Box'. This film bagged the prestigious Academy Award for the best live-action short comedy.
