About the artist

Mario Testino , born in 1954 and died in 2018, was a Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer. He was known for his work with magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and GQ, and for his iconic portraits of celebrities. Testino was also a successful commercial photographer, shooting campaigns for brands such as Burberry, Michael Kors, and Versace. He was a master of capturing the essence of his subjects, often using natural light and vibrant colours. Testino was also a philanthropist, donating his time and resources to charitable causes.
