Despite uncertainty about the origins of her artistry, her affluent upbringing and brother Henry's society status likely provided her artistic education. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eShe contributed greatly to 18th and 19th-century British botanical history, skillfully illustrating exotic plants for Kew Gardens and launching the short-lived publication, \"Exotic Plants from the Royal Gardens at Kew\" in 1790. Notably, she taught Queen Charlotte and the Royal Princesses, and her masterpieces adorned the interiors of royal residences and scientific institutions.
