About the artist
T.J. Bridge is originally from Originally from Miami, Florida. He was the child of two amateur painters and began dabbling in watercolour and oil painting at the tender age of ten. His earliest focus was the contrast he saw in nature nature, serene oceans, towering mountains, barren deserts, and rich pastures. He also held deep admiration for the tradition of self-taught art in the South. This inspired him to create arresting natural landscapes with unwavering self-belief. When hs family moved to Georgia in the late '80s, Bridge would refine his skills at the University of Georgia, Athens. Despite the helping to develop his talent, university life left him yearning for more. So he took a year out to traverse America. On this journey he created swift, intuitive depictions of its landscapes, rekindling his bond with nature's vast extremes. Currently, Bridge continues his exploration of nature's marvels, working from his private studios in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
