About this artwork

Alphonse Mucha, a Czech painter and graphic artist, spent the majority of his career in Paris, France. He initially turned to poster design out of financial necessity, but in time, his unique and ornate style earned him recognition as a poster artist. He created a standout poster featuring a woman in an adorned green and orange dress for Moët & Chandon. This is a luxury French winery, founded back in 1743 by none other than Claude Moët.

UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.
International - Framed by premium express courier (select at checkout).

About the artist

Alphonse Mucha (24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, best known for his distinct style and his images of women. He was born in the town of Ivančice, Moravia and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and later in Paris. His work was heavily influenced by Japanese woodblock prints and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Mucha's work was often used to promote the Art Nouveau style and he was a leading figure in the Art Nouveau movement. He was also a successful portrait painter and illustrator.
