About this artwork

"I've never come across an animal I didn't instantly fall in love with." - Andy Warhol. He's famously known for incorporating elements of pop culture into his artwork, but Warhol also believed that animals deserved their own spotlight. He painted a range of portraits of animals, including his pet Dachshund Archie and Yves Saint Laurent's French Bulldog.

UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.

About the artist

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement. Warhol's art used many types of media, including hand drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, silk screening, sculpture, film, and music. He was also a pioneer in computer-generated art using Amiga computers. Warhol's life and work were marked by controversy, his open embrace of celebrity culture, and his collaboration with many of the leading artists of his time.
