About this artwork

This is an uncommon, one-off poster supporting 'Oxfam's Art for a Fairer World'. The artist, Elizabeth Blackadder, is a printmaker and painter from Scotland. She's the first female to be chosen for both the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Academy.

UK - £3.95 for unframed items by 1st Class Packetpost
UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.

About the artist

Scottish artist Elizabeth Blackadder was well known for her wide talent in painting and printmaking. Born in Falkirk, she studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and University from 1949-1955. She meticulously created pieces, often working on multiple paintings for months. Besides her teaching at the Edinburgh College of Art, she created detailed portrayals of cats and flowers later in her career. Remarkably, Blackadder was the first woman admitted to both the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Academy.
