"Infuse Me with Joy and Fill Me to the Brim" is among the final collection of eighteen artworks, masterfully created by the artist during the summer of 2020 as a delightful distraction from the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.Drawing inspiration from the Sussex coastline and the South Downs, where Faye calls home, she took to working on several canvases all at once. This approach gave her more artistic liberty, blending her striking, passionate brushwork with layers of colour and line. Her recent addition of fluorescent paint to her palette brilliantly captures the vibrant glow and energy within these abstract landscapes, mirroring the emotions of this remarkable summer in all its fiery splendor. Faye Bridgewater holds the prestigious title of the John Purcell award winner from The Royal Institute of Painters and Watercolours, along with the Derwent Art Prise (People's Choice) for the year 2020.
