About this artwork

Nick Cranston says, "I came across some authentic mid-century luggage tags, and they're the real inspiration behind this series. The aesthetics of that era are really something - just pure beauty in design, right down to the little things like luggage tags and match boxes. That's what I try to encapsulate in my artwork. I'm particularly attracted to the texture and feel of the printing techniques used in the mid-century. The ink, the flaws... these are elements I love to digitally mimic in my creations."

Unframed prints are usually shipped on the next working day if ordered before 2pm. Framed items can take one or two working days longer with our experts in the framing workshop.

Express services:

Express service for unframed print and posters by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive the next working day for an additional cost. Framed prints are always shipped by express courier.

Shipping Fees:

UK - £3.95 for unframed items by 1st Class Packetpost
UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.
International - Framed by premium express courier (select at checkout).

About the artist

Nick Cranston, a South African native, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Design & Illustration at the University of Wales, Swansea between 2001 and 2004. He made a name for himself as a freelance Creative Designer until 2013 when he started at Newhaven's King & McGaw as a Senior Creative Designer.

Cranston now lives in Brighton in the UK. His artistic style stands out for its vibrant colours, sleek lines, and bold geometric forms. Cranston's portfolio includes and impressive collection of whimsical travel posters and striking typographical prints with more than a little nostalgia.
