David Wedgbury, a famous British photographer who was active during the pinnacle of the sixties, has an archive teeming with portraits of some of the finest British musicians, including The Who. Formed in 1964, this English rock band is regarded as one of the most influential groups of the 20th century, boasting over 100 million record sales globally. In this particular portrait, Wedgbury masterfully captures the band members, poised in front of an oversised poster of a beautiful woman, offering a whimsical yet earnest composition.
