About the artist
Born into a family of engineers and musicians, Ian Winstanley ended up finding his passion in photography. He kickstarted his career in Birmingham, making a name for himself in a top-tier studio. He dipped his toes in advertising and design before Private View, an artist's agency in London, helped him venture into fine art photography. Ian believes in treating each image like a design project, drawing inspiration from all corners of art. He's meticulous about preserving the original energy of an image while guiding it in a unique direction. About 15 years ago, he set up his own studio and has since amassed a diverse portfolio, from classic florals and serene landscapes to reporting on cars. He's now recognised as one of England's top fine art photographers.
