About this artwork

UK-based photographer David Wedgbury was at the peak of his career during the swinging sixties. His collection features images of some of the finest British music talents, among them the legendary singer-songwriter Marianne Faithfull. This particular portrait was shot in 1965, around the same time Faithfull dropped her chart-topping single ‘As Tears Go By’. This song catapulted her to worldwide fame. Express service for unframed print and posters by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive the next working day for an additional cost. Framed prints are always shipped by express courier.

UK - £3.95 for unframed items by 1st Class Packetpost
UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.

About the artist

David Wedgbury, a British photographer, captured iconic images of the top mid-sixties British bands like The Who, The Rolling Stones, Small Faces, and The Zombies. His extensive archives also include David Bowie, Marianne Faithfull, and Eric Clapton. Wedgbury's photographs adorned numerous LP and EP covers, becoming instantly recognizable. Tragically, he unexpectedly died in 1998.
