About this artwork

Nick Cranston once stumbled upon some genuine mid-century luggage tags and was instantly smitten. The aesthetic of that time period truly resonates with him. The way how even the smallest items, like luggage tags or matchboxes, were created with such detail and beauty. His art pieces are a clear reflection of this era's influence. He's particularly attracted to the texture and tactile quality of mid-century printing techniques. The way the ink bled and tiny flaws were left behind, it's all echoed in his digital recreations.

Unframed prints are usually shipped on the next working day if ordered before 2pm. Framed items can take one or two working days longer with our experts in the framing workshop.

Express services:

Express service for unframed print and posters by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive the next working day for an additional cost. Framed prints are always shipped by express courier.

Shipping Fees:

UK - £3.95 for unframed items by 1st Class Packetpost
UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.
International - Framed by premium express courier (select at checkout).

Duities and VAT:

EU countries pay no VAT but will be liable to local taxes or duties.

About the artist

Nick Cranston, a South African native, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Design & Illustration at the University of Wales, Swansea between 2001 and 2004. He made a name for himself as a freelance Creative Designer until 2013 when he started at Newhaven's King & McGaw as a Senior Creative Designer.

Cranston now lives in Brighton in the UK. His artistic style stands out for its vibrant colours, sleek lines, and bold geometric forms. Cranston's portfolio includes and impressive collection of whimsical travel posters and striking typographical prints with more than a little nostalgia.
